Occult, although young, comes with 10 years of independent musical experience and a genuine passion for artistic expression.

By upholding sonic individuality he has crafted a diverse and varying library of solo and collaborative music, from dancefloor detonators to complete ambience. This approach has taken him from 3 hour chill out sets at the legendary Boom festival, to 90 minute high speed back to back wars with Macabre Unit founder, Demon. Occult knows what to play and when, his DJ sets flow seamlessly with apparent ease, similarly to his music. The music that Occult creates and chooses to play is used as a genuine tool of self expression, not controlled by hype or genre influences. While his own music has taken a slower, more experimental direction in recent years, his array of musical ammunition will take control of any crowd, in any situation.

Occult has been a resident at The Mine and worked for the Macabre Unit Digital label since their inception and was a member of the former collective, ICUaudio. He has released Dubstep music with established labels M.U.D, Boka Records, New World Audio, Merkaba Music. Also he has released his more experimental music with fine imprints such as Deep Heads, Substruct & Fent Plates.
